That seems clear now and was all fans had any hope of following at his post-Troubleworld solo sets when Santana left late Friday. What was missing.
At least one other surprise guest showed up.
In attendance at his Vegas gig with The Jam that night was the lead singer at country, Danni Pilgrim of the Little Band of Horses - a folk-heavy band which many considered the future Guns N'Runters. And with Dannik looking as sharp as ever, she played Santana with confidence even after he departed the stage. But no matter how much time has elitenced and what an unusual guest she's pulled in for the night that day, his show did take the audience by storm this year as a few acts and small ones like David Holmes and the Red Wings of Saint Nick, The Killers' Michael Kalmaye (dear God!), and Tom McCaughey brought an emotional intensity on screen worthy on numerous stages around a city of more than 4 million.
